Why this site exists

Most wedding sites want you to do one thing first: sign up. Build a free account, give us your email, and then maybe we'll let you use the hashtag generator. That works for them — every account is a lead they can monetize for years.

It doesn't work for you. Wedding planning is stressful enough without managing eleven new logins for tools you'll use once. WedGenerator is the alternative: six focused tools that work the moment you open them, with no signup, no email harvesting, and no upsell.

How we keep it free

The tools run entirely in your browser — no servers, no databases, no ongoing cost to us per user. Hosting a static site costs a few dollars a month even at significant traffic. To cover that and eventually pay for the time we put into improving the site, we run a small number of unobtrusive display ads. When ads are live, they'll be marked clearly and limited to specific slots (above-the-fold and between content sections).

We never sell your data, because we don't collect any. The tools save your inputs to your browser's local storage so you can come back to your work, and that's the entire scope of our data practice.

Who's behind this

WedGenerator is a small independent project run by a single editor. We don't have a sales team, a content factory, or a venture round. We're trying to build the wedding tool you'd actually recommend to a friend — and we'd rather grow slowly by doing that well than chase traffic with thin content.
