Why this pairing works
Tonal palettes (two shades of one color family) are the cleanest visual signature. Sage as the lighter dominant + deeper eucalyptus as the secondary creates dimension without color competition. Reads more sophisticated than a single-green palette because the depth is intentional.
Best for
Spring and summer outdoor ceremonies. Greenhouse venues, garden estates, anywhere with natural foliage you don't want to compete with.
Where it breaks
Without a neutral (cream or stone) the palette goes flat under indoor light. Plan for at least 30% cream or beige somewhere — linens, paper, candles.
